What  is Line?

Line is the most important element in art. Line is an identifiable path created by a point moving in space. It is one-dimensional and can vary in width, direction, and length. Lines often define the edges of a form. Line also can created its own movement. There is many types of lines. Lines can be horizontal, vertical, or diagonal, straight or curved, thick or thin. They lead your eye around the composition and can communicate information through their character and direction.

What is Form?

Form is an element of art, At its most basic, a form is a three-dimensional geometrical figure (i.e.: sphere, cube, cylinder, cone, etc.), as opposed to a shape, which is two-dimensional, or flat.

form, in art, means the whole of a piece’s visible elements and the way those elements are united. In this context, form allows us as viewers to mentally capture the work, understand it and attempt to analyze it.

What is Space ?

Space is  distant or areas between and with the component in the artwork.  Space can be positive (white or light) or negative (black or dark), open or closed, shallow or deep and two-dimensional or three-dimensional. Sometimes space isn’t actually within a piece, but the illusion of it is.

What is Texture?

Texture is the quality of the surface of artwork. Texture also t he way a three-dimensional work actually feels when touched, or the visual “feel” of a two-dimensional work. Texture cames in two type, there are physical texture and visual texture. For physical texture, we can touch and feel it with our body (3 dimension) but for visual texture, we only can see the texture inbut cannot feel it.
